Toyota 4Runner Sleeping Platform

I like how my Car to Camp platform was easy to set up and also easy to store. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Bought this for my 2022 Outback Wilderness. The fit is perfect! In addition to the Husky bins that are recommended, I wanted to use a couple existing bins I had. For my application, I used metal pad eyes and cinch straps and the project turned out so nice. I have a lot more organized storage now. Before purchasing, I reached out to Nathan and asked several questions. He answered almost immediately on a weekend. He shipped it out promptly and it was at my door a couple days later (on the East coast). I can't recommend CarToCamp enough!

This is a well thought out design and I appreciate that tools aren't required. It's nice that the front part can be disassembled and the pieces stacked on the assembled rear/trunk portion. The wood is solid, nicely finished, and the entire platform is much better than anything I'd of been able to come up with or construct myself.

I have not used the main unit yet so have not reviewed it. However, after a "dry" install I performed the conversion. All went well and pretty quickly considering I'd never done it before.

Love my platform! I am older and cannot sleep on the ground anymore. This has been such a comfy sleep, I don’t have any back pain when I get up! I love the simplicity, being able to snap it together without tools.

One of my DeepSleep mattresses doesn’t self inflate as full as the other, so I feel a little lopsided. But I haven’t tried the pump yet, so I’ll give that a go. Thank you again for this innovative solution for sleeping in my car!

Original (9/25/2025): Really helped maximize the space in my Subaru Impreza. I love how easy it is to take apart when not in use and no tools are needed! Materials feel sturdy and the design is well thought out. Would recommend it to anyone.

Also asked for a replacement for one part. Took a while for an update, but they've responded!

Love my car sleeping platform. Creates a flat sleeping surface & tons of great storage underneath. Exactly what I needed to keep all my gear stored & accessible while still getting a great night sleep. Not being handy or skilled at putting things together, I was still able to do it with the help of the video. Very happy with my set up.

Separately, I had a minor issue with my order but outstanding customer service is addressing it.

I recommend CarToCamp to all my car camping friends.

its perfect for even just storages on the day to day. i will be taking it on its second trip at the end of the month. i love being able to car camp in style, cant wait. I can finally fit everything i need and not have to bring the car box. The only suggestion i have is maybe do drawers that you can add on if need be
