6th Gen Toyota 4Runner Sleeping Platform

My car is both my daily driver and my camping home. I have a roof tent that adds significant weight to my car, so I wanted a storage system that was lightweight and easy to dismantle as needed. This has been the perfect solution. I have actually kept it in the car rather than dismantling and swapped my camping bins for daily storage bins (reusable bags, cleaning products, hats, jacket, dog items, etc.). I love the setup. I did mount a fridge slide on top of the storage system which I was a little nervous about, but it's worked out just fine.

Product is well designed properly packaged and should be very long lasting. Two small pieces were missing and it was very easy to actually talk to someone and they sent out replacements immediately.

I had been searching for a cargo/camping system for my Jeep since I drove it home from the dealership. More specifically I wanted something modular where I could keep the back seat up most days but then expand the system and lie flat when camping. The CarToCamp system is by far the best option out there. The drawer configuration in the back is great even when not out in the backcountry. Would definitely buy again!!

Went together perfectly. All the joints are very tight. Took it out overnight to Big Bear. Excellent fit for the jeep. I paired it with the deep sleep mattress.

Frees up so much space

I like how my Car to Camp platform was easy to set up and also easy to store. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Bought this for my 2022 Outback Wilderness. The fit is perfect! In addition to the Husky bins that are recommended, I wanted to use a couple existing bins I had. For my application, I used metal pad eyes and cinch straps and the project turned out so nice. I have a lot more organized storage now. Before purchasing, I reached out to Nathan and asked several questions. He answered almost immediately on a weekend. He shipped it out promptly and it was at my door a couple days later (on the East coast). I can't recommend CarToCamp enough!

This is a well thought out design and I appreciate that tools aren't required. It's nice that the front part can be disassembled and the pieces stacked on the assembled rear/trunk portion. The wood is solid, nicely finished, and the entire platform is much better than anything I'd of been able to come up with or construct myself.

I have not used the main unit yet so have not reviewed it. However, after a "dry" install I performed the conversion. All went well and pretty quickly considering I'd never done it before.
