Toyota 4Runner Sleeping Platform

I've been so happy with my sleeping platform! I have used it already and found the instructional videos to be incredibly helpful for piecing it together. Putting it together is fairly easy/not time consuming. I had a few questions and someone was available in the chat to help me in real time as I sent photos about my question. Highly recommend! What a wonderful company.

The First 5/5: the solo platform for my Subaru Crosstrek! Quality material, fit together beautifully, easy assembly, looks nice, great storage space underneath (you can make use of every space underneath for various storage). Paired with the deep sleep mattress that I also purchased from them and have slept in my Crosstrek twice. SO comfortable. The Crosstrek can be tight to sleep in but this platform seemed optimal and the solo gave me the ability to have my rear driver side seat up or down (platform fit like a perfect glove for that purpose). Very happy with purchase…now just building out the rest of my purchases to go on a long round the country trip!
Second 5/5: CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is the one that really stood out! Had been looking at different platforms online, and was beginning to give up….companies that only responded with AI (so I never got the info I needed), some never responded at all (or took a week). Many had mixed reviews (bad customer service, long shipping times or never received product after purchase, almost bought from a company, then found it had a D+ BBB rating, so be careful!). Wanted a platform, but just wasn’t ‘feeling it’. Then I came upon Cartocamp. Nathan responded quickly, (NO AI!), answered all my questions, offered suggestions, and really wanted me to be happy with my purchase. No sales pressure, just an experienced car camper that wants to see others experience the open road like he has. I live only an hour away so I was able to pick up my platform in person, and he assembled it in my car right in front of me so I could see how easy it was to assemble. As a newbie, I had so many questions, and he took the time to talk with me. (When I asked his thoughts on cooler vs fridge, he took the time to show me his fridge, and gave me the honest pros and cons of both.) He is just one of those rare people that are genuinely good and I walked away knowing I made the right purchase from the right company.

Love this. It fits my 4Runner perfectly and it’s really good quality. Easy to assemble too. I can’t wait to start using this for my camping trips!

My car is both my daily driver and my camping home. I have a roof tent that adds significant weight to my car, so I wanted a storage system that was lightweight and easy to dismantle as needed. This has been the perfect solution. I have actually kept it in the car rather than dismantling and swapped my camping bins for daily storage bins (reusable bags, cleaning products, hats, jacket, dog items, etc.). I love the setup. I did mount a fridge slide on top of the storage system which I was a little nervous about, but it's worked out just fine.

Product is well designed properly packaged and should be very long lasting. Two small pieces were missing and it was very easy to actually talk to someone and they sent out replacements immediately.

Love them!

I had been searching for a cargo/camping system for my Jeep since I drove it home from the dealership. More specifically I wanted something modular where I could keep the back seat up most days but then expand the system and lie flat when camping. The CarToCamp system is by far the best option out there. The drawer configuration in the back is great even when not out in the backcountry. Would definitely buy again!!

Easy and high quality kit at good price. Love it. I will buy from these guys again if I ever get new car.

Went together perfectly. All the joints are very tight. Took it out overnight to Big Bear. Excellent fit for the jeep. I paired it with the deep sleep mattress.

Thanks for everything!

Wow! What a difference my sleep platform has made. I love it. Super comfortable setup and quality construction.

Dealing with Nathan has been awesome had a little hiccup and he took care of it.Now it's time to get out and enjoy it.
110 percent

Frees up so much space

I like how my Car to Camp platform was easy to set up and also easy to store. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Bought this for my 2022 Outback Wilderness. The fit is perfect! In addition to the Husky bins that are recommended, I wanted to use a couple existing bins I had. For my application, I used metal pad eyes and cinch straps and the project turned out so nice. I have a lot more organized storage now. Before purchasing, I reached out to Nathan and asked several questions. He answered almost immediately on a weekend. He shipped it out promptly and it was at my door a couple days later (on the East coast). I can't recommend CarToCamp enough!
