CarToCamp designs and manufactures vehicle-specific sleeping platforms and storage systems for the car camping community. We are a small, hands-on team that takes pride in building quality products.

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time, W-2 position with flexible scheduling between 20 and 40 hours per week based on production needs and your availability. You will play a direct role in building the products that go out to our customers, working across multiple stages of the production process.

Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2

Schedule: 20–40 hours per week (flexible)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Birdsboro, PA (on-site)

Duties

  • Operate a CNC router to cut and shape parts according to production specifications
  • Sand, deburr, and finish parts to quality standards
  • Perform basic assembly tasks, including attaching hinges, velcro, and other hardware components
  • Pack finished parts into boxes and prepare orders for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift

What We're Looking For

No prior manufacturing experience is required — if you are dependable, a quick learner, and comfortable working with your hands, we are happy to train you. That said, any of the following is a plus:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, woodworking, or fabrication environment
  • Familiarity with power tools or shop equipment
  • Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Physical Requirements

This is an active, on-your-feet role in a shop environment. Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand and move throughout the shop floor for the majority of the shift
  • Lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently, without assistance
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions (sanding, assembly, packing)
  • Work safely around active machinery and in a light manufacturing environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay of $20.00 – $25.00, based on experience, paid in accordance with Pennsylvania wage payment law
